Yup, I've decided, I'm switching this account out for a new one. Sorry to pop in and yet again not commit to a promise, but this time it's a little different.

I've decided to scrap this account and start a new one. There are many confusing reasons as to why I'm doing this. But one of the really big ones is that I've changed my attitude towards art and how I will treat it and represent it. I'm now finally working my full capacity towards a career in animation, and as such my artwork can't be a casual hobby like it was when I started this account.

Really there's too much that I need to change in this account, so I'm gonna start anew, clean slate and all that good stuff. Now that I'll be working more hard core towards furthering my abilities I'll need to better represent them as well.

Anyways, that's kind of the gist of it. I'm getting a new account and moving my work over to it. I will still watch everyone who I watched before and I will be posting some of my work from this account there so it will still have elements of this one in it.

To all of you who faved my work and watched me from this account, I truly thank you for boosting my confidence and spurring me on to better my skills as an artist. I really wouldn't have progressed as well as I have without you. I apologize though for the loss of this account that some of you have become familiar with. I do not know what will happen to your faves, but they'll probably end up as broken links within the next week or so. I'm sorry for that. And I will not repost all of my previous work on this new account either so for those who'll miss it, I apologize, but it's what's going to happen.


I'll finish business on this end first though, with my 900 messages left to go, and my half of a trade with Daxxe. But once that is finished I will sign off here and begin wiping the account.

Well I showed you!

Uh, yeah I've been pretty stressed out for school and preparing for the big move to Minneapolis this summer. Finals are just around the corner for me and I'll be working on those while I still have the time.

I've been working a lot on expanding my skillz and an artist in one way or another. Hopefully making the jump to full time won't be too difficult. I've been trying to use real life for my work more often now instead of always trying to imagine it, and it helps a lot.

I've been going through a strong period of "worldview solidification" you could say lately. I really couldn't continue doing all that I was trying to do when the nagging question in the back of my mind of "why are you doing this?" was being left unanswered. I'm glad to say that I'm very confident in what I believe now and that I'll be ready for whatever comes my way. No this isn't some emo pie in the sky high hopes thing, or some pious enlightenment thing that i need to impress everyone with. I now know what I have to do with my life and nothing short of God's will is going to deter it now. Things are more clear than they ever have been and I couldn't be happier knowing that. It is something I recommend doing every once in a while.

And on a lighter note, I've been finishing overdue trades! Yaaaay!!! Now the only one left is for Daxxe. This one I'll have to try and finish before the end of may, and then I'll be able to look for trades again! And this time I'll actually have dates set for them so they don't go overdue...

Anyway, I suppose that's the update in the life of Nick for this quarter. Tune in next time for "Time in the Twin City Chronicles".

I really need to get myself more organized.

To all of you who were watching me earlier I apologize for vanishing off the face of the planet, and to those who are waiting for trades and commissions from me you may E-beat me to a bloddy pulp, until I have them finished.

As I have not been able to keep my resolution to put up a new sketch every few days, I'll see if I can at least make myself more organized so that I have time to post stuff.

Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I trust you all got what you wanted: the car, the computer, all your favorite movies, The coupons from your siblings, IOU's from your uncles, and of course the manditory underwear and socks from your mom. Well at least I got the socks...

In the days to come I'll be taking courses in digital mediums like I always wanted! Finally I'll be able to say that I know what I'm doing!!! And I'll also be taking acting, ethics, art history and the like for my last semester at NDSU before I go to the Art Institute of Minnesota. YAY

In the coming months I plan to finish my trades and projects as I said I would. Now that the skills are at my disposal and that I'm no longer stuck in my parents house with no internet or digital coloring programs or anything more advanced than dried out crayola markers and my left over charcoal from Art 122.

And this just in, whoever get's the 2000th view get's a free request.

I'm going to turn in all my art trades that I've been working on within the month. But during this time I'll also be turning at least one Sketch a day that I've been doing in my spare time. I don't know maybe it'll be interesting to someone.

Well I'm back, and this time I'm pretty sure that I am.

The new school year has started and I'm in for one more year to complete my computer science minor and then I head off to an art college for an art masters *hopes*

I'll be gettin to all the trades I still have sketches of lying around. I'll probably redo them cause they look terrible compared to what I'm putting up right now. XP In anycase hope your summers went well and all that stuff. I'll probably be on more often now. So I may even post from time to time.
